Twenty-three-year-old Rachel Breen graduated with academic honors from the Juilliard School, where she was a student of Julian Martin. Previously, she studied with Dr. Sharon Mann; until 10, she was self-taught. Breen has won many awards, including the first prize of the 2019 Georges Cziffra International Competition. She has performed a number of times with orchestra (most recently, at Lincoln Center and in Madrid, Spain). She is currently based in Europe, where she studies with Professor Lars Vogt. Aside from piano, she received the first prize on the United States National Latin Exam and third prize on the National French Exam.
