Born in Wenzhou, China, Jiahao Han studied piano from a very young age and was admitted to Shanghai Music Primary & Middle School, now an undergraduate student at The Juilliard School. He was awarded “Kayserburg Youth Pianist” in 2020 and “Shanghai All-round Good Student 2018”. In recent years Jiahao won the third prize, as the youngest contestant, in “Jinji Lake” International Piano competition in 2017, the third prize in “Jeunesses International Music Competition Dinu Lipatti” in 2016, and the second prize in “The Tenth Japan Cecilia International Music Competition of Chamber Music” in 2016. As an alumnus of Morningside Music Bridge (MMB) from 2017-19, Jiahao also got “Mazurka Prize” in the 22nd MMB in Warsaw, 2018. Encompassing artistic integrity, he is constantly engaged with new music and participates in many chamber or orchestral performances in New York as a member of New Juilliard Ensemble (NJE).
