Petar Klasan is one of the most talented young artists in Croatia. In 2017 he graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with honors. During his studies he has studied with Noel Flores, Oleg Maisenberg and Stefan Vladar. Petar Klasan teaches piano at the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Ramallah, Palestine. He has won numerous prizes at international competitions, including the B. Papandopulo Competition in Zagreb, EPTA Svetislav Stancic in Zagreb, Elena Robro Stepanow in Vienna, European Piano Competition in Torino, and participated in master classes with professors such as D. Bashkirov, N. Grubert, Pavel Gililov, Arie Vardi, M. Chernyavska, Stephen B. Kovachevich, E. Hubert. Finally he deepens his interpretation skills with Stefan Mendl and Jasminka Stancul. Petar Klasan is active as a soloist and chamber musician and is founder of the Con Brio concert series in the Bank Austria Salon in the Old City Hall of Vienna.
