Mitra Kotte was born in Vienna, Austria in 1995. She has won numerous prizes at international competitions: MozARTe Aachen in Germany (2018), Foundation, Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians, China (2015), International Competition for Young Pianists Ettlingen, Germany (2014).

In 2019 Mitra Kotte was chosen as “Start-up” artist by Jeunesse – Musikalische Jugend Österreichs. Already in 2015/16 she made her solo-debut with a piano recital at the Wiener Musikverein and at the Liszt Festival Raiding.

Since 2012, she studies with Martin Hughes at the “Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien”, currently as a postgraduate student. During the academic year 2017/2018 she was a student of Daejin Kim at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul.
