Up to twenty-one (21) competitors selected in the Online Video Round present a program according to the requirements of the repertoire (one work each from Group 2 and 5).
- Group 2: One of the sonatas from op. 27 to op. 90 (with the exception of op. 49/1, 49/2 and op. 79)
- Group 5: One of following pieces: Bagatelles op.33, Variations op. 34, Variations op. 35*, Variations op. 120* (Diabelli Variations), Bagatelles op. 126
All competitors advance automatically to the Semi Final Round, however the Chairman of the Jury may request the exclusion of a candidate after the First Round performance in extraordinary cases. The members of the jury vote on this request by simple majority.
