The International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna is Austria’s oldest international piano competition and ranks among the most renowned music competitions today. Founded more than 50 years ago, it is hosted by the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Selected young pianists meet in Vienna from May 4 – 14, 2020 to give proof of their mastery to an international jury and to Vienna’s audience.

Open to all pianists born between 1 January 1988 and 31 December 2000

International Auditions in January / February 2020 (including Video auditions). The application process is now open. You can either apply by choosing to perform live, or by sending in a recording (see below).
