Online Video Round
of the 17th International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna

In preparation for the Online Video Round, candidates were invited to download a PDF with information here: Online Video Round: Information for Candidates

Successful applicants selected for the online video round were notified on 1 December 2024 and invited to submit their recordings for the online video round. By 15 February 2025, 44 recordings had been received.

Before the deadline, these candidates declared their withdrawal from the competition: Rachel Breen, Leonardo Colafelice, Yongho Park.

No response was received from candidates Piotr Alexewicz, Sergey Belyavsky, Samuel Glicklich.

The online video jury voted on the 44 candidates until 25 March 2025.

Twenty-one (21) candidates were selected to perform at the Live Rounds in Vienna from 16 May 2025.

Before the competition live rounds in May, the videos of these selected contestants from the Online Video Round will be published on www.beethoven-comp.at and will remain online until the end of the competition.
